Barber Electric “JIC Enclosures” are oil tight electrical enclosures designed for use as junction boxes, instrument housings, and electrical control use. These enclosures provide protection from dust, dirt, oil and water. All JIC covers are fully gasketed. JIC’s are fully seam welded and ground smooth. The standard finish for these enclosures is ANSI 61 gray polyester powder coat. All JIC enclosures are furnished with external mounting feet and panel studs for optional back panels. Back panels must be ordered separately. Please consult with the sales department at Barber Electric for custom sizes and modifications. Barber Electric provides many different styles of JIC’s for various applications:
1. Continuous hinge, type 12, clamp cover.
2.
Lift off cover, type 12, clamp cover.
3.
Continuous hinge, type 4, clamp cover.
4.
Lift off cover, type 4, clamp cover.
5.
Continuous hinge, type 12, quick release draw clamp.
6.
Screw cover, type 12.
7.
Continuous hinge, type 4x, stainless steel, clamp cover.
